A new feature has been introduced on the platform that makes it easier for coaches to review assignments. Using this feature can save a lot of clicks and helps maintain a clear overview. The new ticket system replaces the activity feed that coaches currently use while reviewing.
How to turn it on (or off)?
To give all coaches time to get used to the new layout, you temporarily have the option to turn it on or off. You can easily switch between the old and new interface and change your preference as often as you like! To enable it, go to 'Review Work' from your coach dashboard and click 'Yes, turn it on now!' at the top of your screen.
A 'Beta' button will now appear at the top of the screen. You can click this button to disable the new view or to leave feedback.
Filtering
Once you've clicked it, the system will ask you to set a few filters. These determine which assignments you will review in a session. You can also choose not to apply any filters, in which case the system will show you all assignments that have not yet been reviewed.
Reviewing
Next, click 'Review All' or select a specific assignment to start with. You’ll notice that the activity feed on the right is no longer visible, but a new bar appears at the top of the screen. This bar contains the following buttons and information:
You can then start reviewing. For each assignment, you can leave a comment and/or grade it before moving on to the next one. At the bottom of your screen, you can leave comments, view the assignment’s qualifications, and access any previously submitted versions. You can also enable an option to automatically proceed to the next assignment and use an extra set of buttons for commenting, approving, and rejecting. Whether you use the buttons at the top or bottom of the screen makes no difference—you can work in whichever way suits you best.
Once you have finished reviewing the selected assignments, you will be automatically redirected to the 'Review Work' table.
Our product team is eager to hear about your experiences with this new feature. Share your feedback by clicking 'Beta' at the top of the table! Your input will help shape future improvements.
